EIILM University, Jorethang, Sikkim, was established in 2006 under the Sec.2(f) of UGC Act and established under ACT No.4, 2006 of Govt. of Sikkim and the Act received assent of the Governor on 24-03-2006 thta was published under Government of Sikkim, Gazette Notification No. 28/LD/2006, dated 3rd April 2006.

EIILM University has been established on the foundation of sound academic principles laid down over the years. The University carries the legacy of imparting international standard education in India. It endeavors to maintain the same high standards to achieve global presence, At EIILM University, academic programs are benchmarked against the best academic and industrial standards. A wide variety of programs are offered that cover a range of career-oriented qualifications. Courseware is periodically reviewed to meet industry requirements and student aspirations. The courses are designed to give students an opportunity to apply their intelligence, creativity and leadership skills to the challenges of the technology-driven world.

The sponsoring body for EIILM University is "The Eastern Insitute for Integrated Learning in Management (EIILM) Kolkata", established in 1995, to provide quality and career education in India through variety of programs. EIILM aims to equip students with a blend of "Learning Experience" through Academic Inputs. Diversified Skills and knowledge.

EIILM focuses on imparting knowledge, developing skills and competencies to inculcate in students a sense of pride, inquiry and achievement. EIILM holds record of achieving quality standards through : EQUIS (European Quality Certification of University Education).

From its inception, All India Council Technical Education, Government of India, approved EIILM's Postgraduate DIploma in Business Management (PGDBM). The Institute started offering MBA programs under Visva Bharati, a Central University since 1951, EIILM got the status of a 'Constituents College of Visva Bharati'. Visva Bharati had involved EIILM University representatives on its 'Board of Studies'; the examination papers were set and also evaluated by different faculty members of EIILM.

2. Interested candidates may on the printed form attached with the prospectus or may download it from the website www. eiilmuniversity.ac.in or can be collected from the approved admission & counseling centers of the university by paying the requisite fee in cash or via Demand Draft in favour of "EIILM University", payable at Sikkim/Delhi.
